Fomo acquires Mobula’s technology and team to supercharge its onchain data stack

Fomo, the social-first onchain trading app based in New York, has acquired the proprietary software and intellectual property of Mobula, an onchain data aggregation and infrastructure provider, in a deal announced on August 31. The acquisition brings Mobula’s core technology and key personnel directly into Fomo’s engineering ranks. Among those joining Fomo are Mobula founder Sacha Marcus and CTO Sacha Delhoux. What Fomo is buying and why it matters Mobula had already been powering critical parts of Fomo’s infrastructure before the acquisition. Its real-time APIs and security-enriched data endpoints were the plumbing behind Fomo’s scam detection tools and social discovery features. Mobula itself will reportedly continue to operate as an independent entity following the deal, though Fomo has absorbed its core IP and engineering leadership.
