Wrexham reportedly pursues deal to sign Henrik Falchener from Viking Stavanger

Wrexham AFC is reportedly attempting to land Henrik Falchener from Viking FK, with the Welsh club said to have already seen two bids turned down for the 23-year-old Norwegian centre-back. The latest offer is reportedly valued at €9.5 million, a significant premium over Falchener’s estimated market value of around €6 million. Falchener joined Viking FK from Egersund in January 2025 on a contract that runs through December 31, 2029. Across roughly 39 appearances for Viking, he’s found the net 8 times, a striking output for a centre-back playing in Norway’s Eliteserien. The reported €9.5 million offer already sits roughly 58% above his estimated market value, and Viking apparently still said no. Wrexham has been busy this transfer window as the club prepares for another season in the English Championship.
