SUI enables one-minute prediction markets with DeepBook App launch

The DeepBook App went live in alpha on the Sui mainnet on September 24, bringing with it something the network has been building toward for years: a fully integrated trading interface that combines spot markets, margin, and ultra-short-term prediction markets under one roof. The headline feature is Predict, which lets traders take speculative positions on Bitcoin price movements with expiry windows as brief as one minute. In a space where most prediction markets deal in days or weeks, DeepBook is compressing the timeline to something that looks more like a turbocharged options desk than a typical DeFi protocol. What DeepBook actually built At its core, DeepBook operates a shared on-chain central limit order book, or CLOB. Think of it as the plumbing that connects buyers and sellers directly, rather than routing trades through automated market makers that rely on liquidity pools. That CLOB has already processed over $20B in cumulative trading volume across more than 15 applications that tap into its shared liquidity layer.
