OpenAI plans to unveil Managed Agents at DevDay 2026

OpenAI is gearing up to launch Managed Agents, a new platform capability that lets users create and deploy AI agents through a unified system, at its DevDay 2026 event on September 29 in San Francisco. Sam Altman will deliver the opening keynote via livestream. What Managed Agents actually does Managed Agents will allow developers and enterprise users to build intelligent agents equipped with customizable environments, skills, and plugins.
