NG.CASH, the Brazilian fintech that started life as a YouTube channel, just locked down $15 million in strategic funding led by Blockchain Capital. The round, which closed on September 23, brings the company’s total haul to more than $65 million since it launched in 2021. The money will fuel two priorities: scaling NG.CASH’s consumer credit products and laying the groundwork for digital asset services in Latin America’s largest economy. From YouTube to fintech heavyweight NG.CASH’s origin story is unusual even by startup standards. The platform grew out of a YouTube channel that now has roughly 20 million subscribers, double the approximately 10 million it had when the company was founded. That built-in distribution channel gave NG.CASH something most fintechs spend years and millions trying to manufacture: a massive, engaged audience of young Brazilians who already trusted the brand.
