Meta unveils Muse Charm, a keychain-sized AI device for its Muse agent

Meta just showed off what might be its boldest hardware bet yet: a tiny, standalone device built entirely around talking to an AI agent. The Muse Charm, unveiled by Mark Zuckerberg at Meta Connect 2026 on September 23, is a keychain-sized gadget with a 2-inch touchscreen, built-in 5G, and one job: giving users instant access to Meta’s Muse personal AI agent wherever they go. What the Muse Charm actually is The device is small enough to clip onto a bag or slip into a pocket, roughly comparable in size to Apple’s AirPods charging case. Its 2-inch touchscreen displays a customizable animated avatar representing the Muse AI, giving the interaction a slightly more personal feel than barking commands at a disembodied voice. Hardware-wise, the Charm packs a fingerprint sensor for quick voice activation, integrated microphones, speakers, and that built-in 5G connectivity that lets it function completely independently of a smartphone.
