Gen Digital, the cybersecurity company behind Norton and LifeLock, has reportedly made a takeover offer for GoDaddy in a deal valued at roughly $12 billion. The move would represent a dramatic expansion for Gen Digital beyond its core cybersecurity and fintech businesses into domains, website building, and small-business software.
