FC Barcelona targets Brazilian wonderkid Arthur Dias for defense

Barcelona’s search for defensive reinforcements has led the club to Curitiba, Brazil, where scouting chief Joao Amaral personally watched 19-year-old centre-back Arthur Dias during Athletico Paranaense’s 2-1 win over Bahia on September 20. Dias, who stands 1.88 meters tall and plays as a left-footed central defender, has rocketed through the ranks at Athletico Paranaense with roughly 50 senior appearances already under his belt.
