Doxx.net raises $38M Series A led by a16z to build private networks for AI agents

Miami-based startup doxx.net has raised $38 million in a Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz, better known as a16z. The company wants to give AI agents something most humans never had online: a private network they actually control. The funding, announced on October 1, 2026, will support the open beta of the company’s platform. The pitch rests on a concept doxx.net calls Agentic Defined Networking, or ADN. Animo Ventures and Focal.vc also joined the round. What doxx.net is actually building Under ADN, users can spin up private networks that run peer-to-peer and need no servers. Each network gets its own DNS root, its own IP allocations, and encrypted channels for communication. DNS is the system that translates human-readable names into machine addresses. Owning your own DNS root means nobody else decides where your names point. The platform is built for individuals, businesses, and AI agents alike.
