MetaDAO has a new name on the door of its fundraising shop. The project has launched Backable, a platform on Solana where founders can raise capital from supporters around the world. Backable is not built from scratch. It is the platform formerly known as Futardio, rebranded on October 5, 2026, and it arrives with $44.2 million in total commitments from 2,407 backers. The pitch is simple. Anyone can launch a raise, anyone can back it, and MetaDAO does not pick winners. How Backable works Founders launch fundraising campaigns, and supporters commit capital to the ones they like. Funds are held in escrow rather than handed straight to the team. If a project misses its minimum funding goal, backers get a full refund. Funded teams cannot spend freely. They are limited to a pre-set budget that is disbursed monthly. Backable runs with no curation or vetting of teams by MetaDAO. The numbers so far The headline figure is $44.2 million in commitments across 2,407 backers. The median contribution sits at approximately $500. The platform has also completed twelve successful raises. Together, those raises have brought in roughly $728,000.
