Institutions that want exposure to Cardano-based assets have always faced a quiet but persistent problem: the tokens themselves were not natively supported by the industry’s dominant custody infrastructure. That changes with a new integration between the Cardano Foundation and Fireblocks, announced September 24, 2026, which will bring full native support for Cardano Native Tokens to the Fireblocks platform by March 2027. The practical meaning of that is significant. Before this deal, institutions handling CNTs had to rely on manual processes or raw signing workarounds. Now they will be able to custody, send, and receive CNTs using the same policy controls and security architecture already applied to other digital assets on the platform. Why this is a bigger deal than it sounds Fireblocks is not a niche player.
