Anthropic and Accenture deepen AI partnership with billion-dollar commitment

Consulting giant Accenture and AI lab Anthropic announced a major expansion of their working relationship on December 9, 2025, forming the Accenture Anthropic Business Group and committing $1 billion over five years to develop enterprise AI solutions built around Claude. The centerpiece of the new arrangement is the dedicated Accenture Anthropic Business Group, a practice inside Accenture focused entirely on deploying Claude models for enterprise clients. Accenture plans to train approximately 30,000 of its employees on Claude, and tens of thousands of developers will gain access to Claude Code tools as part of the rollout. The industries in the crosshairs here are financial services, healthcare, life sciences, and the public sector. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has proposed new methods for incorporating independent third-party evaluators into AI model assessment, embedding safety and alignment checks rather than treating them as an afterthought. Accenture is also one of Anthropic’s largest enterprise customers already.
