World Liberty Financial is moving beyond crypto trading infrastructure and into the unglamorous but massive business of paying people. The Trump family-backed digital asset firm is planning to extend its payments technology to large Web2 companies, with a specific focus on disbursing funds to drivers, contractors, and content creators. The stack behind the ambition WLFI’s payments push is built around its USD1 stablecoin, which launched in March 2025 and has reached a circulation of approximately $4 billion to $4.4 billion across Ethereum and BNB Chain as of October 2026. The technical layer enabling the Web2 expansion is AgentPay, an SDK the company launched in March 2026. AgentPay lets AI agents handle USD1 transactions autonomously while staying within self-custodial guardrails, meaning the money never pools in a custodian’s account before reaching the recipient. WLFI is also building World Swap, a forex and remittance platform announced in February 2026.
