UniX AI expands globally as Unitree Robotics prepares for IPO

UniX AI, a humanoid robotics startup founded just last year in Suzhou, China, is making aggressive moves to scale its business internationally. The company has been delivering robots primarily to customers in China, Singapore, and India, with plans to go public as it rides a wave of investor enthusiasm for automation technology. For a company that didn’t exist before 2024, UniX AI has moved at a pace that makes most startups look leisurely. The firm has raised roughly $57 million through multiple funding rounds and claims to have hit mass production for its flagship robot models, achieving triple-digit monthly deliveries by 2025. From factory floor to hotel lobby UniX AI’s product lineup centers on two key models: the Wanda series, a wheeled dual-arm robot, and the Panther, a bipedal humanoid. Both are designed for general-purpose service tasks. The Wanda 2.0 has found its niche in commercial settings.
