TRON expands dApp access through MetaMask connectivity

Getting into TRON’s DeFi ecosystem used to require a detour. MetaMask users who wanted to interact with TRON-based applications had to set up a separate wallet, typically TronLink, just to get through the door. TRON DAO announced on September 10, 2026, that four ecosystem applications now support MetaMask connectivity: JustLend DAO, SUN.io, B.AI, and BitTorrent. The move builds on a partnership between TRON and Consensys that was announced in August 2025, with MetaMask adding native TRON support in January 2026. What’s actually being unlocked The four dApps cover a meaningful slice of TRON’s on-chain activity. JustLend DAO, the network’s primary lending and borrowing protocol, carries more than $7B in total value locked, making it one of the larger DeFi platforms by that measure across any chain. SUN.io, which handles decentralized exchange functions through its SunSwap V4 infrastructure, reports a TVL exceeding $650M. The other two integrations fill different niches.
