Touchstone, the credit arm operating under the XAUE brand, has joined Morpho’s lending protocol as a curator specializing in gold-backed credit. The move brings physical gold exposure deeper into decentralized finance’s lending infrastructure, connecting one of DeFi’s most modular protocols with a yield-bearing layer built specifically for Tether Gold. What Morpho’s curator model actually does Morpho operates differently from monolithic lending protocols like Aave or Compound. Instead of a single governance body managing all risk parameters, Morpho uses a permissionless, curator-driven architecture.
