Tokenized stocks reach 1.4M holders, up 448% in six months

Six months ago, tokenized stocks were a niche curiosity. Now they have 1.4 million holders, a 447.5% increase that puts this corner of the real-world asset market on a trajectory few predicted. The growth has been driven by two platforms in particular: BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain, each commanding roughly 500,000 holders. That near-parity is remarkable given that Robinhood Chain only went live around July 1, 2026, meaning it captured its entire share in roughly six weeks. Robinhood’s blitz entry Robinhood Chain’s speed of adoption is the headline within the headline. By late July, the chain had accumulated approximately 414,000 holders of tokenized equities, accounting for about 44% of the total market at that point. BNB Chain sat at roughly 417,000 holders, a lead so slim it’s essentially a rounding error. For context, the total holder count stood at around 752,000 in late July, meaning it had already jumped 92% in just 30 days.
