Teucrium, the ETF provider best known for agricultural commodity funds, is applying an old-school due diligence framework to one of the newest corners of finance: leveraged crypto products. Maital Legum, Teucrium’s Head of ETF Solutions, appeared on Bloomberg’s “ETF IQ” on May 7, 2026, to walk through how the firm decides which products actually deserve to exist. The core message: just because you can wrap something in an ETF wrapper doesn’t mean you should. From soybeans to XRP The company launched its Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF, ticker XXRP, on April 7, 2025. It was a bold move at the time, arriving before any spot XRP ETF had received approval in the US. Then in April 2026, the firm followed up with the Teucrium xETFs 2x Long Daily BNB ETF, trading under the ticker XBNB, which launched on April 28. Legum, who joined Teucrium on March 3, 2026, has been tasked with overseeing this expanding product suite.
