Team Liquid welcomes back Trexx for VCT Stage 2

Team Liquid is bringing back a familiar face. Nikita “Trexx” Cherednichenko has rejoined the organization’s Valorant Champions Tour roster ahead of VCT EMEA Stage 2 2026, reuniting with a squad he helped lead to a title just over a year ago.

The announcement, made on June 26, also confirmed the promotion of Kicks to the starting lineup and the benching of wayne Chang.

What the roster looks like now

With Trexx slotting back in, Team Liquid’s active EMEA roster now features trexx, nAts, kamo, and purp0, alongside the newly promoted Kicks.

Why Trexx is the call

Trexx initially joined Team Liquid before the 2025 EMEA Stage 2 and promptly helped the team secure the title, a run that came with a $100,000 prize. After a disappointing showing at VALORANT Champions 2025, the team’s dynamics shifted. Trexx departed, and Liquid entered a period of roster experimentation that, based on the current move, hasn’t produced the results the organization wanted.
