A company that once sold business intelligence software now trades more shares per day than Robinhood. Strategy Inc., the firm formerly known as MicroStrategy, has climbed to 21st on the list of most-traded US stocks, a ranking that puts it ahead of the very brokerage platform millions of retail investors use to buy it. Volume that punches above its weight class On peak trading days in August 2026, MSTR saw daily volumes between 46 and 49 million shares change hands. Those numbers placed it as high as 10th among all US stocks by share turnover on certain days, leapfrogging Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and Berkshire Hathaway. The 30-day average trading volume for MSTR has settled in the range of 22 to 25 million shares. Both MSTR and Robinhood have appeared on “most active stocks” lists throughout September 2026, but Strategy has exceeded Robinhood’s volume on multiple occasions.
