Starknet completes quantum-resistant signature transfer test on mainnet

Starknet just ran a quantum-resistant transaction on its live mainnet. The cost: about $0.06. It marks the first time a blockchain network has executed this kind of transaction on a live mainnet at consumer-grade pricing. The transfer used a Falcon-512 post-quantum digital signature account that met full specification compliance, making it a genuine demonstration of quantum-safe cryptography operating in production rather than a testnet sandbox. Why quantum resistance matters now Quantum computers running Shor’s algorithm could eventually solve the mathematical problems underlying elliptic-curve cryptography, which secures virtually every blockchain in existence, in practical timeframes.
