Standard Chartered’s digital assets research team has published forecasts that paint a striking picture of where decentralized finance and tokenized real-world assets are headed. Among the projections circulating from the bank’s research: Chainlink’s LINK token could reach $200 by 2030, tied directly to the anticipated explosion in tokenized assets across public blockchains. The $4 trillion tokenization forecast Standard Chartered projects that tokenized assets on public blockchains will reach $4 trillion by the end of 2028. The bank expects that total to split roughly evenly between stablecoins and real-world assets like bonds and investment funds. The bank’s analyst Geoffrey Kendrick is behind the specific token price targets attached to this thesis.
