Soros Fund Management increases Nvidia stake by over 400,000 shares in latest filing

Soros Fund Management, the investment firm founded by George Soros, has been quietly stacking Nvidia shares like someone who discovered a favorite restaurant and keeps coming back. The firm’s latest 13F filing shows its Nvidia holdings climbed to roughly 1.07 million shares in Q1 2026, an increase of about 407,530 shares from the prior quarter. That’s a 61.2% jump in a single quarter. The position now represents approximately 2.7% of Soros Fund Management’s total equity portfolio, with an estimated value between $187 million and $242 million depending on pricing at the quarter’s end. A pattern of aggressive accumulation The most dramatic move came in Q2 2025, when the fund increased its Nvidia position by more than 1,600%. The firm added approximately 932,500 share-equivalents, including derivatives, bringing its total holdings to nearly 990,000 shares at that time. Soros Fund Management oversees around $28 billion in assets and also manages the Open Society Foundations.
