Skild AI, a robotics startup that didn’t even exist three years ago, has now raised more than $2.2 billion in total funding. Its latest round, a $1.4 billion Series C closed in January 2026, valued the company at over $14 billion. That’s the largest reported robotics AI funding round to date, and it tripled the company’s valuation in just seven months. From zero to $14 billion in record time Skild AI was founded in 2023 by Deepak Pathak and Abhinav Gupta. The company emerged from stealth in July 2024 with a $300 million Series A that valued it at $1.5 billion. A seed round of approximately $14.5 million preceded that, and a Series B followed, pushing the valuation to around $4.5 billion. Then came the Series C. SoftBank led the $1.4 billion round, joined by a roster of investors that reads like a who’s-who of tech capital: NVIDIA’s NVentures, Bezos Expeditions, Lightspeed, Coatue, and Sequoia Capital. Strategic investors including LG, Schneider Electric, and Salesforce Ventures also participated. The revenue trajectory helps explain the investor enthusiasm.
