The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will hold an open meeting on Aug. 14 at 10:00 a.m. ET to consider whether to propose a tailored offering regime for certain investment contracts involving crypto assets. The agency’s official notice, dated Aug. 10, says the meeting will be public at SEC headquarters in Washington and webcast online.
