SC Braga is set to land Jovan Milošević from VfB Stuttgart in a deal worth €8 million. The 21-year-old centre-forward will sign a five-year contract with the Portuguese club, marking a significant step in what has been a winding early career across European football. For Stuttgart, this is a tidy piece of business. They originally signed Milošević from Serbian club FK Vojvodina in July 2023 for a fee reported between €1.2 million and €2 million. Selling him now for €8 million means they’re walking away with a return of roughly four to six times their initial investment, depending on which end of that original fee you use. From Serbia to Germany to Portugal Milošević, born on July 31, 2005, arrived in Stuttgart as a teenager with obvious raw talent but faced the adjustment curve that trips up plenty of young players moving to a top-five European league.
