Roblox just gave its creator community a substantial upgrade, and Wall Street responded accordingly. Shares of the gaming platform surged more than 11% on September 14 after the company rolled out a suite of new tools and features at its 12th annual Roblox Developers Conference in San Jose, California. The centerpiece announcement, branded “Roblox Everywhere,” lets creators distribute their games as standalone applications across mobile, PC, and consoles. Instead of requiring users to open the Roblox app first, individual games can now live independently on a player’s device.
