Robinhood crushes Q2 earnings expectations while crypto revenue takes a hit

Robinhood just posted the kind of quarter that makes Wall Street analysts look conservative. The company reported Q2 2026 earnings with diluted EPS of $0.62 and total net revenue of $1.31 billion, blowing past consensus estimates that had pegged EPS around $0.39 to $0.41 and revenue between $1.22 billion and $1.25 billion. The prediction markets boom and the crypto hangover Robinhood’s transaction-based revenue hit $776 million, a 44% jump year-over-year. Event contracts and prediction markets generated $156 million in revenue, a figure that skyrocketed over tenfold compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, crypto revenue told a very different story. Digital asset trading brought in $100 million, representing a 38% decline year-over-year. CEO Vlad Tenev pointed out that Robinhood now operates across 13 different business lines, each generating annualized revenues exceeding $100 million.
