Robinhood Chain hits record $944M in daily DEX volume

Robinhood’s blockchain, barely two months old, is already putting up DEX numbers that would make most established Layer 2 networks jealous. The Arbitrum-powered chain has been shattering its own volume records throughout August, with daily decentralized exchange activity climbing toward the billion-dollar mark as traders pile into everything from memecoins to tokenized Apple shares. The chain’s peak day came on August 30, when it registered approximately $875 million in DEX volume alongside a staggering 5.52 million daily transactions. Earlier in August, trading volumes had already reached between $920 million and $944 million on separate occasions, eclipsing a prior high of roughly $878 million set back in mid-July. For a network that only went live on July 1, those are not small numbers. Uniswap dominates the order flow The bulk of Robinhood Chain’s trading activity is flowing through familiar infrastructure. Uniswap’s v4 deployment accounted for $432 million of the August 30 volume, while the older v3 version contributed another $357 million.
