Real Madrid are negotiating with RB Leipzig over a deal for 19-year-old Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, adding another chapter to the club’s long-running strategy of hoarding elite young talent before rival clubs can lock them down. Diomande only joined Leipzig in July 2025 for approximately €20 million from Spanish side CD Leganés. In the span of roughly 12 months, he’s gone from a promising La Liga prospect to a transfer target for the biggest club in world football.
