Printr, the cross-chain token launchpad that promised to make memecoin creation as easy as hitting “print,” is hitting delete instead. The platform announced on August 17 that it will cease all operations by August 31, 2026, canceling its planned token generation event and the airdrop that users had been grinding points toward. For anyone who spent months accumulating Printr points in anticipation of a token reward: those points are now worthless. The project token that was supposed to materialize simply won’t. What happened According to the shutdown announcement, Printr spent the last three months trying to raise additional capital and came up empty. The platform had positioned itself as an “every chain” launchpad, leveraging cross-chain infrastructure from Axelar and LayerZero to let users deploy tokens across multiple blockchains simultaneously. It offered features like customizable fee structures and a novel “Proof of Belief” staking mechanism designed to reward early supporters.
