Fulham FC is closing in on a deal to sign Southampton midfielder Shea Charles for around £25 million. Both clubs have experimented with blockchain partnerships, and every high-profile transfer window increasingly doubles as a marketing runway for the crypto sponsors bankrolling these squads. The deal, if completed, would be Fulham’s third signing of the summer 2026 window. Southampton reportedly rejected an initial £24 million bid in July, and the two sides have since continued negotiations.
