PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 opens registration for qualifiers with $1.25M prize pool

PGL has opened registration for open qualifiers to its Masters Bucharest 2026 tournament, giving Counter-Strike 2 teams worldwide a shot at competing for a $1,250,000 prize pool this October. The event, classified as a Valve Tier 1 tournament, will run from October 24 to 31 at PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania. What’s on the line The $1.25M prize pool will be split evenly, with $625,000 going to players and $625,000 allocated to clubs. Sixteen teams will compete in the final event. Twelve of those slots have already been filled through invitations or prior confirmations, leaving the remaining spots to be decided through qualification. The pathway to Bucharest runs through two stages. Open qualifiers, now accepting registrations, will feed into closed regional qualifiers scheduled for September 9 through 13, 2026.
