The payments company reported second-quarter 2026 results on July 28 that cleared analyst expectations on both the top and bottom lines, sending a signal that its pivot toward AI-driven efficiency and digital currency integration is starting to show up where it matters most: the income statement. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.38, beating the consensus estimate of $1.28 by nearly 8%. Revenue hit $8.68 billion for the quarter, above the roughly $8.47 billion that analysts had penciled in, reflecting a 3% increase on a currency-neutral basis.
