OpenLedger, the Layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for AI workloads, is making a deliberate turn toward mainstream users. The project has outlined a two-year roadmap focused on no-code customization tools, privacy-preserving features, and agentic capabilities in crypto payments and trading, a combination designed to pull non-technical users into a space that has traditionally required serious engineering chops. What OpenLedger is actually building The centerpiece of the B2C push is ModelFactory, a no-code dashboard that lets users fine-tune large language models using their own datasets, which OpenLedger calls Datanets. The platform handles the technical complexity underneath while surfacing controls a non-engineer can actually use. On-chain rewards and provenance tracking are baked into the system, meaning contributors get credited and compensated when their data or models are used. Privacy-preserving AI is also on the roadmap as a core feature rather than an add-on. According to founder Ram Kumar, the sequencing of the agentic rollout is intentional. Agentic payments come first. Agentic trading follows. The logic is that payments are a simpler use case with more immediate utility, ...
