Kaelyn Voss, a key sales executive at OpenAI, has resigned from the company. The departure, first reported by Laura Bratton of The Information, comes roughly a week after Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser left the company, and extends what has become a remarkably turbulent year for the AI giant’s leadership ranks. Voss reported directly to Dresser, making this a clean sweep of the top of OpenAI’s sales organization in the span of about eight days. Dresser herself departed around August 13 after serving less than a year in the CRO role. A pattern that’s getting harder to ignore Nearly a dozen senior leaders have departed OpenAI since the start of 2026. The exits haven’t been confined to one department or function. They’ve spanned operations, ethics, and product, as well as the commercial side of the business. OpenAI hasn’t made any public statements addressing Voss’s departure or the broader pattern of executive turnover.
