Developer Oleg Fomenko has released frost-wallet, an open-source threshold Schnorr wallet for Bitcoin that runs entirely offline. The whole thing lives inside a single, self-contained HTML file. No server, no network connection, no cloud account quietly phoning home. What frost-wallet actually does Frost-wallet supports what cryptographers call t-of-n setups. A group of n participants each holds a share, and any t of them can cooperate to sign a transaction. No single person ever holds the complete private key. The Rust code is compiled to WebAssembly and paired with JavaScript, which is how the entire application fits into one browser-readable file. Participants and a coordinator pass messages back and forth through QR codes, plain text, or files. Every step of key creation and signing can happen on air-gapped machines, which means the devices are physically cut off from any network.
