Nvidia partners with Armenia and Kazakhstan to build AI infrastructure worth billions

Nvidia is planting flags in two countries most people couldn’t locate on a map without squinting, and that’s precisely the point. Armenia and Kazakhstan are each building massive AI computing facilities powered by Nvidia hardware, part of a broader strategy to spread the company’s infrastructure footprint well beyond the usual suspects in Silicon Valley, Northern Virginia, and East Asia. The combined investment across both projects could reach $10.5 billion, positioning two post-Soviet nations as unlikely but potentially significant players in the global AI compute race.
