Jensen Huang wants governments to keep their legislative pens away from artificial intelligence. The Nvidia CEO, speaking at an AI gathering convened by King Charles III at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, drew a sharp line between AI and social media, arguing the two should not be governed by the same regulatory playbook. Huang told journalists that AI is “very different than social media” and that the technology’s current security concerns are “related to products not ready to be released.” His core argument: AI is a “technology” rather than a “product,” and treating it like the latter would be a policy mistake with real consequences for innovation.
