New York Stock Exchange uses Anthropic’s Project Glasswing to enhance cybersecurity

The New York Stock Exchange has deployed Anthropic’s Claude Mythos Preview, part of a broader initiative called Project Glasswing, to hunt down and patch cybersecurity vulnerabilities across its systems. NYSE President Lynn Martin testified before the House Financial Services Committee on September 2, 2026, detailing how the technology helped the exchange rapidly identify and remediate security flaws. Some of those vulnerabilities had apparently been lurking in the codebase for decades. What Project Glasswing actually does Anthropic launched Project Glasswing on April 7, 2026, giving selected organizations access to Claude Mythos Preview, a model built specifically for deep code analysis and vulnerability detection. The program started with heavyweight partners including AWS, Apple, Google, and Microsoft before expanding outward.
