Meta just gave its AI assistant a body. At Meta Connect on September 23, Mark Zuckerberg introduced the Muse Charm, a palm-sized device built specifically for interacting with the company’s Muse personal AI agent. Think of it as a dedicated hardware remote for your AI life, one that fits in your pocket and doesn’t require you to fumble with your phone every time you want to talk to a bot. The device is roughly the size of an AirPods case, which is another way of saying it’s small enough to forget you’re carrying it. It features a 2-inch OLED touchscreen, front and rear cameras, microphones, a fingerprint sensor for activation, and 5G connectivity. Meta plans to ship Charm devices by December 2026, though only a handful of prototypes exist right now.
