Kingspan Group lifts guidance on strong data center construction momentum

Kingspan Group, the Irish building materials specialist, raised its full-year profit forecast by 18% on August 7, lifting its trading profit target to approximately €1.13 billion from the €1.05 billion it had set just four months earlier. The catalyst was not a recovery in traditional construction markets, which remain sluggish, but a surge in demand from data centers. Shares in Kingspan jumped nearly 20% in Dublin trading following the announcement. The Advnsys engine Kingspan’s data infrastructure business, Advnsys, posted 34% sales growth in the first half of 2026, and order intake and backlog more than doubled compared to the same period last year. The demand driving those numbers comes from hyperscale cloud providers and large tech infrastructure projects. Kingspan supplies the physical envelope products that make data centers more energy-efficient. The company said it is actively expanding manufacturing capacity for data center products and is evaluating substantial deals to capture more of the opportunity.
