Juventus reportedly in talks with Tottenham over Richarlison, but the deal faces a valuation gap

2 hours ago 2

The summer transfer window is heating up, and one of the more interesting subplots involves a Brazilian forward whose Tottenham career has gone from marquee signing to surplus asset in just a few years. Tottenham have set a €30 million asking price for Richarlison, though credible sources have not supported earlier reports of Juventus’s interest or a €20–25 million offer from the Italian club.

From £60 million signing to discount bin

Richarlison joined Tottenham from Everton in June 2022 for a fee that could reach £60 million. That makes Tottenham’s current €30 million valuation a stark admission of how things have gone — less than half of what they paid.

The forward’s role within the squad has diminished considerably since his arrival. The player himself appears ready for a change. Reports indicate Richarlison is open to leaving after the 2026 World Cup, which suggests the feeling is mutual between player and club.

Juventus isn’t confirmed, but other suitors are

While Juventus has been linked with the move, credible reports have not confirmed their involvement or any €20–25 million offer. Clubs reportedly interested in Richarlison include Flamengo in Brazil, Atlético Madrid in Spain, and Orlando City in MLS. Turkish and Saudi Arabian clubs have also been mentioned in the mix.

Richarlison’s €10 million per year salary demands have limited interest from English clubs, contributing to Tottenham’s need to look at international options. As he nears the final stages of his contract and has publicly indicated a desire for a new challenge, every passing week shifts leverage toward the buying side.
