Ipswich Town’s club-record signing Emersonn scored his first goal for the club during a 4-2 pre-season victory over Union Berlin on August 15, giving the Tractor Boys a promising foundation ahead of their Premier League return. The 22-year-old Brazilian forward, whose full name is Emersonn Correia de Silva, arrived at Ipswich on July 8, 2026, from French club Toulouse in a deal worth £27 million — a record fee on the selling side as well. Emersonn is the first Brazilian player to represent Ipswich Town.
