IBM Digital Asset Haven connects to Swift’s blockchain ledger for tokenized deposit transactions

IBM’s institutional digital asset platform can now plug directly into Swift’s blockchain-based shared ledger, creating a bridge between enterprise-grade wallet infrastructure and the global banking network’s tokenized deposit system. Clients of IBM Digital Asset Haven are able to connect to Swift’s ledger and instruct tokenized deposit transactions, a development that knits together two of the most significant pieces of institutional blockchain infrastructure built in the past year. What each platform actually does IBM Digital Asset Haven launched on October 27, 2025, as an API-driven platform built for institutional clients who need to manage wallets, enforce governance policies, and handle transactions across more than 40 public and private blockchains. Security sits at the core of the architecture, with multi-party computation, hardware security modules, and confidential computing layered together. Compliance tooling comes pre-integrated rather than bolted on after the fact. IBM built the platform in partnership with Dfns, a wallet infrastructure provider that has created over 15 million wallets for more than 250 clients.
