Hyperscale Data sells 100 Bitcoin to fund AI data center buildout in Michigan

Most companies treat their Bitcoin treasury like a savings account they occasionally brag about. Hyperscale Data decided to spend some of it. The NYSE American-listed firm, trading under the ticker GPUS, announced on July 30, 2026 that it had monetized approximately 100 Bitcoin from its corporate treasury. The proceeds are going directly into construction and infrastructure development at its AI data center campus in Michigan. Hyperscale still holds more than 1,000 BTC in reserve, valued somewhere between $65M and $71M at the time of the announcement. Selling 100 Bitcoin is less a liquidation and more a calculated withdrawal from a piggy bank, with the rest staying put. A $1.2 billion reason to build fast The company has signed a master services agreement with a neo-cloud AI infrastructure provider, committing to deliver an initial 20 megawatts of AI compute capacity at the Michigan campus. The contract runs for 10 years and carries a potential revenue figure of more than $1.2B. If that client decides to expand by an additional 32 megawatts, total revenue from the agreement could exceed $3B.
