Grok Build introduces /deep-research command for advanced research with parallel AI agents

xAI’s Grok Build platform just rolled out a feature that makes its AI do something most humans struggle with: actually checking its own work. The new /deep-research command deploys multiple parallel agents to break down research questions, verify sources independently, and deliver a comprehensive report complete with citations and, crucially, a list of what it couldn’t find. How the deep research command works Rather than a single AI model generating one response to a prompt, the /deep-research command spins up multiple agents that each tackle different angles of a research query at the same time. These agents aggregate verified claims, cross-reference evidence across sources, and independently validate information before anything gets presented to the user. The result is a cited report that doesn’t just give you an answer. It tells you where the answer came from and, perhaps more importantly, where the gaps in available information exist.
