GiantX punched their ticket to the upper bracket second round of the VCT 2026 EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins on August 6, taking down Challenger side Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1. The victory keeps GiantX in contention for one of two qualifying spots at VALORANT Champions 2026. The series opened with GiantX steamrolling Eintracht Frankfurt 13-5 on Lotus. Then the script flipped. The second map saw Frankfurt take control early, closing it out 13-9 to force a decider. GiantX found themselves trailing again on the third map, Summit, but clawed back to win 13-9 and seal the series. The pattern of digging early holes was not lost on the players.
