Gate launches Gate Money, an all-in-one finance app for mainstream users

Gate wants to be the only finance app on your phone. The crypto exchange has launched Gate Money, a feature that puts digital assets, fiat currencies, stocks, ETFs, gold and electronic bank accounts under one roof. What Gate Money actually does Gate Money was unveiled on October 7, 2026, during Dr. Han’s keynote at TOKEN2049 in Singapore. It went live immediately through an update to the Gate App, version 8.39.0. No waitlist and no separate download. The headline feature is a one-click application for a personal global electronic bank account. Those accounts support more than 60 local currencies. Spending is handled through the Gate Card, which works with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Users can move between fiat and digital assets inside the app, then tap to pay at a register. There is also a yield component. Eligible USDT balances can earn up to 3.6%, with no lock-up period. USDT is Tether’s dollar-pegged stablecoin, so this is effectively a savings-style return on digital dollars that you can withdraw whenever you like.
