The Solana memecoin economy has a new storyline, and it reads like a streaming war. Two platforms, Fomo and Pump.fun, are fighting over the same finite resource: the attention and order flow of degenerate traders. Fomo, a social trading app that has quietly built momentum throughout 2025 and into 2026, just logged its sixth consecutive week of all-time high trading volume. Solana accounts for more than half of its total trader flow. On August 6, the platform briefly overtook Axiom in daily fees, a benchmark moment that underscored how quickly it has scaled.
